# YouTube post settings

> The details and options you can set when you schedule a video to YouTube.

When you [schedule a post](/scheduling/schedule-a-post.md) to YouTube, the **Configure Task Parameters** dialog lets you set these details.

## Video details

**Title** is required.

| Setting | Limit | What it's for |
| - | - | - |
| **Title** | Up to 100 characters | The video's title on YouTube. |
| **Description** | Up to 5,000 characters | The text that appears below the video. |
| **Tags** | Up to 30 tags, with a 500-character limit | Keywords that help people find your video. |
| **Category** | — | The YouTube category for your video. |
| **Privacy** | — | Who can see the video on YouTube. |

## Options

| Option | Turn it on when |
| - | - |
| **Made for Kids** | Your video is made for children. YouTube requires you to declare this. |
| **AI-Generated Content** | Your video contains AI-generated content. |
| **YouTube Shorts** | You want to publish the video as a YouTube Short. |
| **Notify Subscribers** | You want YouTube to notify your subscribers about the video. |

**Advanced Settings** contains further options.

## Schedule

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| Date | The day the post is scheduled for. |
| Time | The time the post is scheduled for. |
| Timezone | The timezone the scheduled time uses. |

A summary shows exactly when your post is scheduled for. Check it before you select **Dispatch Task**.
