Aura’s Suggest Edits action reviews your video and creates an edit plan, which is a list of suggested changes. You choose which suggestions to keep, then apply them to your timeline.
An Aura edit plan with four suggestions, filter buttons by priority and category, and suggestions grouped into Pacing, Typography and Engagement, each with a priority label, a Why link and a checkbox

Get and apply suggestions

1

Run Suggest Edits

In Aura, select the Suggest Edits Quick Action, or ask Aura to suggest edits. Aura creates an Edit plan for your video.
2

Review the edit plan

At the top of the edit plan, you’ll see:
  • how many suggestions it contains
  • Signals, the sources Aura analyzed to make its suggestions, such as your transcript and audio regions
  • filter buttons, so you can view all suggestions, only high-priority ones or one category at a time
3

Review each suggestion

Suggestions are grouped by category, for example Pacing, Typography and Engagement. Each suggestion shows:
  • a priority label, such as high or medium, to help you decide which suggestions matter most
  • the part of your video it applies to, and a short description of the change
  • a Why section that you can expand to read Aura’s reasoning
4

Select the suggestions you want

Select the checkbox next to each suggestion that you want to apply.
5

Add them to your timeline

Select Add to Timeline. Aura applies the selected suggestions to your timeline and marks them as Applied.
Read the Why explanation before you apply a suggestion, so you can judge whether it suits your video.

Credits

Each edit plan uses credits, and the amount can differ from run to run. When a run finishes, Aura shows how many credits it used. To check your credits, go to Settings > Billing & Usage.
